Diigo is a tool that many article writers have to easily gather information and highlight points they believe are useful. Diigo was a big help whilst doing my research for my Wikipedia article. One of the most useful features was the ability to add notes to a large amount of text without transferring them to another platform.

My main idea using Diigo was make my notes visually appealing. Personally, I get lost in the information I have gathered unlike with Diigo, where I have color coordinated all of the facts. I have put a sticky note to each of my highlights, like so, when I write my Wikipedia article, all of my original ideas are saved in a safe place which I referred back to. This was my most successful feature. One of my favorite tools was the screenshot, not only could I screenshot paragraphs, but additionally make my own notes. I also liked the bookmarking feature which I created by going in Google Extension and downloading it. This means I did not have to copy and paste the URL. This was something I have not seen any other platform providing as I was editing and saving my notes on the website making it more organized, as well as not losing any needed reference material.

One tool I didn`t figure out was how to link my notes or highlights to a relatable website, for example when making notes on The Guardian I wanted to make an external link to show any important designer Omoyami has worked with. I thought this would be a very useful tool if I want to explain or show what a particular word means or company insights. However, as Diigo is becoming my main information gathering platform, I am finding more and more tools that it can offer.
